My Life| Queensday

Hi dearie,

On the 30th of april it's Queen's Day in the Netherlands! A national holiday, which is called after the birthday of the late queen Wilhelmina. On this day the whole country turns into a big flea market, with sometimes a great find but generally a whole lot of trash. But it's such an awesome day with lots of unity among the people and a good atmosphere.
This year I spend mine Queen's Day in the city of Amsterdam, my hometown. I woke up quite early to go hunting for vintage clothing and jewelry at the Apollolaan, chilled at the Vondelpark and partied at Museumplein! I had such a lovely time, although I didn't bought anything but just being there surrounded by my friends means the world to me. I would definitely recommend to visit Amsterdam -or another Dutch city of course- during Queen's Day before you kick the bucket ;-)

Streetstyle| Coachella

Hi dearies,
I have another streetstyle post for you, except a quite unusual one. The topic of todays streetstyle post isn't a city, no we're going to do something different today ;-)
This streetstyle post is dedicated to COACHELLA! It is one of the most popular festivals in the world, which is held in Indio, California baby! Visiting it once is definitely one item on my bucket list. Not only for the amazing bands which perform on this festival, but also for the cool people who visit it. With in my opion a great -slightly bohemian- style. Luv it!

Get Inspired| Unrequited Love

Hi doll,
I've got a new ''get inspired'' post for you, this is an outfit I would really love love to wear. Unfortnately I haven't found the perfect denim vest to wear it with YET. I want an oversized one, so this chick is on a mission (again) and as determined as usual to find one!
I bought a few pieces with were on my wish-list a few days ago btw. Haha, I'd almost totally forget mentioning it. Buying clothes and jewlery always tend to make me so happy! Finally found a turban, a knuckle ring and a pair of sandals! I'll post some pictures to show you my new purchases soon. Happy easter dearies ;-)

Event| Showroom: Spice PR| Part 2

Hi dearies,
Here is -as promised- part two of the pressday of Spice PR. In a post from a few days ago I showed you the clothes which were presented at this event, now it's time for shoes!
I must admit I almost forget about this post -yeaah bad me, bad me- but I just received an package from Ebay with new shoes. Hallelujah! I'm so excited, nothing makes me happier than new shoes (ok, almost nothing ;-)

Writing this made me thinking of the moment I bought this bag, about two years ago. It might look like an ordinary man-made leather bag, but I bought it when I was walking to my first AIFW underground show. It was raining cats and dogs that day, I was rushing to the show and I just came from school when my bag teared into pieces. Haha, I was carrying all the books- which were in the meanwhile soaked in water- in my hands. Stepped out the tram at Leidseplein in order to quickly buy a new bag at the H&M Divided store and hurried to the fashion show. I haven't seen it since actually, until last weekend while cleaning up the attic. Hmmm sweet memories.

Hi dearies,

Here's a new outfit post! This is the outfit I wore last saturday. I really had lovely me-weekend. Did nothing but chilling and getting myself ''springproof'' -yes, spring has finally arrived here in Amsterdam- (including bright pink nail polish on my toes).

Tomorrow I'm going to the press day of Spice PR together with Ilse! I'm really in the mood to escape reality for a second and just be busy with nothing bùt fashion for a few hours. And I promise this time I won't forget to shoot lots of juicy pictures for y'all!

My new university period has started today -a.k.a. bubye springbreak- and it already completely freaks me out. But only one test to go before I'm officially 1/6 of a doctor ;-)
