Preview| Spijkers&Spijkers

Hi darling,

Today a preview of one of my favorite dutch designers: Spijkers&]Spijkers! Spijker&Spijkers is a brand founded by the two sisters Truus and Riet Spijkers. Here is a preview of their latest spring/summer collection 2011. 

They used a lot of -one of my favorite fabrics- lace in this collection. Also you see lots of strong solid fabrics used with colorful and playful flower-prints, a interesting idea which worked out amazing in my opinion. What made it very wearable. Enjoy!

Minimarket is a swedish clothing label designed by sisters sofie, pernilla and jennifer elvestedt. minimarket has been a women's wear label since 2006. Today, the line has extended from clothing only to include accessories with focus on shoes. This autumn, minimarket is launching the diffusion label mini, for many that will be found in selected stores in sweden, finland, denmark and spain.

Preview| 3.1 Phillip Lim S 2011

Here is the spring preview of -one of my favorite designers- 3.1 Phillip Lim. I really like this collection of his. A great color-pallet, of azure, camel, mint cream, black, white and flesh colored red. He always makes clothes designed for the strong and fashion-forwarded women, who are confident by their sexuality. Another reason why I can't wait till I'm rich ;-) 

My Favorite Look Of The Day| 'Cause This Life Is Too Short by Angela B.

Here is my favorite look of the day! I made these pictures of Angela, and she made mine (click here).. 
I may be not be impartial, but I really love this look. I like the way she combined the fur jacket with those red leather gloves and topped it of with dr. Martens boots, which makes it feminine yet strong. This makes this look my favorite look of the day!

Streetstyle| Stockholm

This is my first streetstyle post ever.. I really love streetstyle. I could sit all day at Starbucks checking people out.. Look at what they wear and especially how they wear it.. 

I even think that designers get a lot of inspiration out of streetstyle.. The first designer that comes op to my mind is the Dutch designer Daryl van Wouw. He is called the greatest in ''streetcouture'' design..

L'histore 

Lee Alexander McQueen, CBE (17 March 1969 – 11 February 2010) was a British fashion designer and couturier best known for his in-depth knowledge of bespoke British tailoring, his tendency to juxtapose female strength and sensuality with fragility in his collections, as well as the emotional power and raw energy of his provocative fashion shows. 

He is also known for having worked as chief designer at theFrench Haute Couture House Givenchy and for founding his own label under the name Alexander McQueen. His achievements in fashion earned him four British Designer of the Year awards (1996, 1997, 2001 and 2003), as well as the CFDA's International Designer of the Year award in 2003.
