My Life| The Final Countdown...

In a few hours it's already New Years Eve, which means that 2011 is only one day away.. Oh 2010 really flew by in my opinion.. It really was one hell of an exciting and also exhausting year for me.. But I'm still alive and kicking, hoping for an even better 2011.. With lots of love, health and happiness..
It's really an habit of mine to make a list of goals and wishes for new year.. I'd love to share them with you..
#1: Passing all my school exams.
#2: Having lots of fun with my friends and family (and I wish them all a great health and lots of happiness).
#3: Get my driver license! Hope I'll have that one asap.
#4: Buying a Canon cam, a good one.. This was on my wish-list for quite a while, in 2011 I hope to finally buy one.
#5: Going to Scandinavia! I'd love to visit Denmark or Norway, hope that will happen next year.
#6: Find the perfect pair of jeans (when that happens I'll probably buy a dozen of pairs :p)
#7: Learn how to sew 
#8: Getting at least 100 followers
I hope that 2011 will be my year.. I wish you all a happy new year, with lost of health, happiness and fun!

Next year around this period I will match my expectations up to reality, hope I made all my wishes come true.. In a few hours NYE! Hope you'll have a blast sweetheart and we're gonna rock 2011!

Proenza Schouler is a New York based modern luxury womenswear and accessories label, founded in 2002 by designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez. After meeting at Parson’s School of Design in 1998, the duo collaborated on their senior thesis collection, which was bought in its entirety by Barneys New York. McCollough and Hernandez worked with Marc Jacobs and Michael Kors respectively, then partnered on their graduation project.

Forming its name by combining the designers’ mothers’ maiden names, Proenza Schouler has gone on to achieve critical success since its inception, including the 2003 CFDA Perry Ellis Award for new talent, and the inaugural CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund award in 2004. In 2007, Proenza Schouler received the CFDA Womenswear Designer of the Year award (for which they were also nominated in 2006 and 2008) and Valentino Fashion Group took a 45% stake in Proenza Schouler. Following the launch of their first collection of shoes and handbags in 2008, they were awarded the 2009 CFDA Accessory Designer of the Year Award, and were nominated again in 2010.

My Life| Christmas

Hi darling,
Hope you've had a lovely Christmas! I sure did!
Loved everything about it! The first day of Christmas I spend with my family.. First we had an huge brunch, with smoked chicken, camembert, cheese, warm bread and more deliciousness passed me by.. I always seem overeat during the holidays btw! After that we unwrapped our gifts, my parents bought me uggs before so I wasn't expecting anything from them actually.. But they surprised me with a woodcutter blouse (I was seeking for one quite a while).. Later that day we went to my aunt, to spend some time with my family.. In the evening I went to a close friend of mine to sleep over. We played Monopoly all night :p

On the second day of Christmas, it was Jessy's 19th birthday. So I stayed at her place till about ten o' clock, I had a blast! A few guest came over, it was pretty crowded but really cozy.. When I came home I went over to put away my gifts (I got a faux fur coat for Christmas from Jess mom, <3 it.. pictures will be posted soon) As soon as I stepped in my room I saw something moving behind my door *scared as hell* I went into Kung-Fu modus.. It was my friend B. from Belgium.. I really wasn't expecting her to come over, and for her to surprise me like that! But I'm glad she did!

My Looks| ''Dessert Heels''

Yesterday I had the busiest day ever.. First I had one hack of an exam about metabolic diseases, after that I went to the Dappermarkt with a couple of college friends of mine. Where we enjoined a delicious roti meal. Thereafter we went to Primark in Hoofddorp to go shopping! I had to buy a few Christmas gifts for my parents so that came very convenient. When I waited for the bus my dad called, to ask whether I was in the mood to go to a soccer game with my sis. I really had a blast yesterday! I'm only freaking tired today ;-)

My Looks| Holiday Shopping

Yesterday my friend and I went shopping in the city of Amsterdam. I was so determined to buy a knuckle ring, that I almost forgot to look at all the amazingness that passed me by. Almost! 

We agreed to buy each other Christmas gifts only spending €30,- euros each. How hard that task seemed at first, how easy it turned out to be. Especially because it's December, which means there's sale in almost every store. (And man, I l-o-v-e sale.. Doesn't everybody?!)
Unfortunately I didn't found the knuckle ring I was longing to find, but probably I'm going to buy one online. (tips about where I could find them are more than welcome ;-) )

A Native Californian, Alexander Wang was born an raised in San Francisco and has a Chinese- American heritage. At the age of 18, he moved to New York City where he attended Parsons School of Design and partook in a variety of internships. By his sophomore year, Alex was already designing the first collection of his label Alexander Wang, which was predominantly knits. He launched his full women's collection in 2007, selling over 200 stores. Now at the age of 26, Alex resides  in lower Manhattan.
